Tentative Opening Day 2016-2017 Friday November 25th
I hope you are as excited as we are to kick off another great season at Mt Abram. Tentative opening is now scheduled for Friday November 27th. Our Target is to have Boris, Sweeper, the Mini T and Lower Round-A-Bout open for Thanksgiving weekend. This will allow the entire family to get out on snow early this year.

Long Range weather forecasts are already talking about the return of a La Nina weather pattern for next winter that is likely to bring back cooler temperatures and more snowfall. You will certainly not want to miss next season at Mt Abram as it will be the first winter being able to ski our new trails that will be completed this summer. We will be sure to keep you up to speed with photos of the trail manicuring and development as the summer moves on.
Expansion of snowmaking onto Lower Easy Rider and the new race trail Wassomatta U is already underway to guarantee connectivity between both sides of the mountain and expand our trail offerings no matter what the weather will bring. The lift maintenance crew has already been busy starting in on their summer lift inspections and annual repairs ensuring another smooth year of operations.
